Geriatric Patient
Most of our pets don’t live as long as we do. Moreover, we consider one year of pets life as approximately 7 years of human life.
For that reason it’s valuable to exam our pet at least once a year.
Your senior pet should get:
- Blood test (very important!)
- Diagnostic sonography (to see the structures inside our pet)
- Echography (many of dogs/cats/guinea pigs have serious cardiac problem, which was not found for years- because of no clinical signs and no echography diagnostics)
- X-ray (first and foremost vertebral column and joints etc.)
